How do ebooks work?
Ebooks are similar to printed books in every way except the paper and ink. When you purchase an ebook, you are provided with the link to a digital file. You can read ebooks on special ebook readers, smart phones, blackberry devices, laptops or desktop computers. Anywhere you can access a digital file in one of our seven formats is your personal library. Ebooks are quicking making their mark on the literary community and we expect ebooks to surpass printed books in production in the next few years. There was a time when one had to be home to watch a television program, not so long ago. Now, very few homes don't own at least a VCR while most have DVRs or TiVo recorders. The same is true with how we read literature. To check out ebooks for the first time, we invite you to download our "Free Read" from the home page of our website. You may need to download a program to open the file, depending upon which you choose. Visit our
FORMATS
page for links to the various ebook readers currently available and a description of each. Free software downloads are available for each of our formats.
