Neon flame met his gaze in the mirror, the blue so intense it felt like it was searing into his own cybered optics.

"What you lookin’ at, corper?"

Jessman’s heart broke with the beauty of his lover’s face, the transformation from killer to human being. In this fifth book of the THROUGH NEON EYES series, Michael Barnette brings Bells and Jessman even closer and packs a lot of emotion and adventure into this great story. There is a lot more plot in this episode as Bells and Jessman race against the clock to find the people who want to kill them. Mr. Barnette paints a grey, dark world, where you are either on the poor side of the wall, or the rich side. Bells, has managed to cross the barrier through Jessman and finds himself in love with a man who is being hunted. The action and adventure is tight and tense and the reader will be on adrenaline with these two characters as they move through a world that is dangerous and ruthless. This reviewer has enjoyed every book so far and is looking forward to the next one.
