After graduating from Merritt Island High School in 1990, Greg joined the navy and became an Avionics Technician. What does an Avionics Technician do? He works on the electronics and computers on the MH & CH53 Helos, that's what. Better than that, Greg sailed around the world, visiting exotic locations like Turkey, Spain, Romania, Bulgaria, Italy, Greece, Somalia, Egypt, Puerto Rico, and Rio. After serving his country for six years, he left the US Navy and took various positions bouncing at local clubs while attending college for Computer Information Technology. His bar-tossing days are over now. He currently works at the Space Center as an Aerospace Technician on the Orbiters. That's a fancy name for the space shuttle, by the way. He's been employed at the Kennedy Space Center for nearly 4 years. So how does a rocket scientist get into modeling? He was discovered by the publisher of Suite Magazine in a chance meeting. So, yes, Virginia, it does happen like that. Greg enjoys modeling and hopefully can keep doing it for awhile. Greg is the proud father of two children, a boy 10 months old and a daughter aged 2 1/2 years. When he's not spending as much free time as possible with his children, he enjoys shooting pool on a league team and working out. You're a busy guy, Greg! Smarts, looks, a dedicated father (is their anything sexier?) and a true gentleman. To find out more about Greg, visit his website at greg-lyons.com or check out his myspace account! |
